Musing on My Blessings

Into your hand I commit my spirit; you have redeemed me, O Lord, faithful God.

Psalm 31:5 (ESV)

Reading my devotions and listening to my music today I realized just how blessed I am.

I am blessed and favored for prayers answered, and now particularly, prayers unanswered (there's a song for that, not on my iPod, but it played in my car this morning. AWESOME!)

I am blessed with faithful family and friends who love me tremendously.

I am blessed with Angels He sends my way. The words He gives people for me, even from people I've not met before (the little angel lady last night was straight from God, and she spoke straight into my heart about what I have been protected from and how favored I am)

I am blessed with God's favor - I have what I need! I don't have to steal, cheat, lie, plot, ploy, deceive, or destroy to have my needs met. MY GOD supplies my needs! My God takes care of me. Faithfully, even when I can't see until the back side what He's done for me.

I am blessed and favored that He calls me His.

He gives me peace and He gives me rest.

He gave me freedom. And He's saved my life. I'm standing firm and holding the line.

For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.

Galatians 5:1

Am I perfect? No, but I don't have to be, because HE is and He loves me!
